Country data lets you view all indicators for a selected geography — a country, region, or other aggregate group — and compare it with up to three others.
Explore the data using three chart types or a map. Read our Data Stories to learn how to create and get the most out of your visualization: beeswarm charts, bar charts, scatter plots, and choropleth maps (map only available on desktop).
What is the WPDS?
The World Population Data Sheet (WPDS) is a trusted source for the latest estimates of more than 30 population and health indicators for over 200 countries and territories. Published annually by Population Reference Bureau (PRB) since 1962, it serves educators, researchers, policy and program decisionmakers, and advocates worldwide.
The 2024 edition includes special indicators capturing key dimensions of gender equality and well-being, including education, work, political representation, reproductive health, and HIV prevalence among young people.
The 2024 WPDS was produced with support from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) under the PROPEL Health project.
